The Meal, Combat, Individual (MCI) was the name of canned wet combat rations issued by the United States Armed Forces from 1958 to 1980, when it was replaced by the Meal, Ready-to-Eat (MRE). The components of the MCI were the M - "Meat Unit", the B - "Bread Unit", and D - "Dessert Unit".

What I have here are various types of B units from year 1962 to 1978.
These were used extensively throughout the Vietnam war and other conflicts up until the introduction of the MRE in the early 1980s.
These B units vary in year of production from 1962 to 1980. They are overall in good condition. Most have no dents or dings. A few have some areas of surface rust. Considering their age, these are in quite good condition overall. Good solid lettering, and good paint.
These are great collector pieces for display, gifts, antiques etc.
