We used this cooking system to prepare a French RCIR 24 hour MRE in the field using the BCB FireDragon fuel blocks. 

Elevation ~7,000 feet AMSL. Temp 54 F. 

Each component of the cooking system nests neatly together. The pouch is rugged and well made. The system can be connected to any belt and is MOLLE compatible. 

The Drinking Cup - strong, stable and good handles. Smooth and easy to clean. Can easily handle hot liquids, but cannot be exposed directly to flame or heat. Easy to drink from surprisingly, very ergonomic unlike most other mess cups. 

Osprey Water Bottle/Canteen - Standard NATO pattern 58 1 Liter capacity. Wide mouth opening can be adapted to accept a number of NATO accessories for use with gas masks etc. Nests securely, very strong polymer. Easy to pour drink powders in the opening.

Cooking Pot - Nests or sits very nicely on the cooker base. Has embossed graduations inside and out for easy water measurements. Easily fits any MRE entrée, soup or heating water for drinks. 

Stainless Steel Cooker - Can be used with any fuel tablets, liquid or gels. Cooking pot/cup nests inside the cooker or can be set on stop using the included handle/kick stand. Stable, non-stick, very efficient cooker. Can also accommodate other cups, pots or mess tins. Easy to light the fuel. Versatile and fast cooker. 

British Army 2 Piece Mess Tin Set - Aluminum, 1.5 and 1.3 Liter capacity, folding handles and both tins nest side each other leaving plenty of room to store spices, fuel, utensils etc inside. Only weighs 18 oz.
